How To Clear Acne - Can The Time You Go To Sleep Cause Acne?
By J Jones
Many studies and theories exist about how to clear acne. One of these is the time you go to sleep and the bio rhythms that occur in your body. It sounds far fetched but if you read on you'll see why it's not so strange and simply changing your sleeping patterns can be a beneficial step in how to clear acne. There are biological rhythms that control our bodies and here are just a few examples of these rhythms of which there are over 1000:
1. hormones adrenaline and cortisol are naturally released during the early morning hours to promote physical activity.
2. Most digestive enzymes are released during the hours of the day.
3. The hormone serotonin is released in response to natural daylight.
4. The hormone melatonin that promotes sleep is secreted in response to the darkness of night.
The changes in melatonin and serotonin tell cells whether it is dark or light outside and how active they should be. The health of each cells and therefore the body depends on whether we allow the body to follow the natural rhythms of day and night.
If you're
not going to sleep until the early hours and getting up late in the afternoon can you see how this can cause hormonal imbalances. This in turn is likely to increase the likelihood of developing acne among other things.
If you've ever had abnormal sleeping patterns for days then you'll know you just don't feel right. You feel out of sync and this causes you to develop illnesses and conditions such as acne easier.
I'm a strong believer that improving your health should be part of your acne treatment. It's not only an easy step on how to clear acne but it's also cheap and effective.
Taking heed of your biological rhythms and making sure you don't cause an imbalance is a prime example of the actions you should take to treat acne.
When you think about how much more productive you are when you get up early and how lazy and negative you feel when you get up late, shows just how much these internal processes affect you.
Simply going to bed and waking up early may not be enough on its own to get rid of acne, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.
